Summary

This was alright as it continues the tale of Haise and him dealing with after meeting Touka， something is happening in him and then we have him confronting the new enemy Nutcracker as they investigate， they also get Saiko， go undercover as females which was funny， Toro going in and being successful leading them to some auction and she is accompanied by Juzo and its a silent operation to take down as many ghouls as they can but there will be losses on both side， who will win？ who will prevail？ Th This was alright as it continues the tale of Haise and him dealing with after meeting Touka， something is happening in him and then we have him confronting the new enemy Nutcracker as they investigate， they also get Saiko， go undercover as females which was funny， Toro going in and being successful leading them to some auction and she is accompanied by Juzo and its a silent operation to take down as many ghouls as they can but there will be losses on both side， who will win？ who will prevail？ This volume changes a lot of things as we come one step closer to finding who Haise really is and the reintroduction of a former friend/enemy aka Shu and the fate of Toru Mutsuki and its gonna be epic seeing how Ken。。er Haise reacts to it！ The art was good and it was a big read yeah but quite fun！ 。。。more

Tokyo Ghoul: re Volume 1-16 - 4/5 By Sui Ishida This is a review for the whole series， SPOILERS AHEAD。 I am really glad Tokyo Ghoul: re is a 'thing'。 Tokyo Ghoul was left on such a cliffhanger - leaving you wondering what was going to happen to Kaneki following his fight and subsequent memory loss。 The beginning of this series focuses on Kaneki following his memory loss - where we get to see him leading his own task force， fighting the ghouls and him working on getting his memory back。 I felt th Tokyo Ghoul: re Volume 1-16 - 4/5 By Sui Ishida This is a review for the whole series， SPOILERS AHEAD。 I am really glad Tokyo Ghoul: re is a 'thing'。 Tokyo Ghoul was left on such a cliffhanger - leaving you wondering what was going to happen to Kaneki following his fight and subsequent memory loss。 The beginning of this series focuses on Kaneki following his memory loss - where we get to see him leading his own task force， fighting the ghouls and him working on getting his memory back。 I felt this was a really well written story and completed in such a way that you are able to empathise with Kaneki and his long term goal of bringing peace to all humans and ghouls。 What follows is a beautifully drawn， action packed， exciting story that you didn't want to end。 I almost felt like the last chapter was like end credits for a movie。 I really enjoyed it and found that it was different from so many endings of a series of books。 After 16 volumes you become quite attached to the characters and it was nice to see how their lives went on following the events over the story。 If you are a fan of Tokyo Ghoul， I would definitely recommend you gives this series a read！ 。。。more

The amount of characters and plot points present is chaotic。 The only reason it works is because of how they built up the world throughout all the books till now yet the problems are also made more clear because of how perfect Tokyo Ghoul was in the beginning。 Reading this it is really apparent why the anime adaptation didn't live up to this。 It's almost impossible to properly adapt this。 Still， the manga is able to stand strong even with its problems。 The amount of characters and plot points present is chaotic。 The only reason it works is because of how they built up the world throughout all the books till now yet the problems are also made more clear because of how perfect Tokyo Ghoul was in the beginning。 Reading this it is really apparent why the anime adaptation didn't live up to this。 It's almost impossible to properly adapt this。 Still， the manga is able to stand strong even with its problems。 。。。more

The artwork is absolutely incredible。 The storyline is quite interesting and keeps you consumed in its pages。
